Testimonials - How Kind !

36 cruises and the best lecturer we've seen ! Adrian and Mary Booth, Saga Ruby

Jeff stepped in for us and gave a total of 10 talks throughout the cruise as the itinerary changed. ''The Singing Speaker', Jeff Woods, gave numerous talks on Great Singers and Great Singing, Comic Characters of the Stage & Screen and three 'By Request' - all of which were very popular and enjoyed by the audience he drew in.

An absolutely excellent speaker, Jeff talks fluidly, without reading from notes, with a vast and excellent knowledge, making his talks entertaining, clear and understandable, with good interest in his voice and humour throughout his talks.

Jeff is your Dream Speaker who can give as many talks as you need and is more than happy to do so, in fact, likes to do more and you can be sure that his presentations will draw a full audience.

Jeff was never meant to be speaking on board and kindly did so to help us out. He became our core speaker of the cruise and gave each of his talks to an excellent standard. One of the strongest speakers we use I would certainly recommend Jeff to be used for future cruises as often as possible.

Thank you for so much FUN. Non-stop music in the house since getting back, hence delay in sending this. Your talks were a High-point of the cruise.

"I always thought light-hearted music was frivolous and lacking value until I heard this man - 30 years of personal prejudice out of the window "  Mr Edgar Gilbert

"I hope you enjoyed your time with us, we certainly were so glad you came.  The comments afterwards were very complimentary "How did you find him !" and "that was a very quick hour!" for instance.  If anyone asks I shall certainly recommend you. Many thanks again, Jan "       Jan Warrender   Abergavenny U3A

"A very big thank you for your recent visit; it was very much appreciated by the members - I have quite a time bathing in your reflected glory as I field the member's praise of your "show".

"Members of Chard, Ilminster & District U3A (University of the Third Age) enjoyed a highly entertaining talk by Jeff Woods at their July meeting. It was as much a performance as a talk, with Jeff donning a range of different hats as he amused his audience with personal interpretations of musical and theatrical works, recordings and whimsical personal observations.  Professional entertainers were the common theme - from Mozart to Stanley Holloway via Gilbert & Sullivan and Laurel & Hardy.  It was informative as well as hugely enjoyable."

"Flawless in delivery and content - so good to see a real professional at work. "

Andy Barnes. Former Head of Staff Training , Civil Service.

"Thank you.. for giving us such an entertaining evening.  Your talk was so interesting and humorous and we all enjoyed hearing your lovely singing voice.....we all felt that we only heard part of your vast repertoire.  So much so that everyone made it quite clear that they would be pleased if you come again."
